They will feature a special display of Dan Simpson Racing items in their display case. Local resident and business man, Dan Simpson, who has his sprint car team headquartered in Rio Vista, has a special display during February at the Rio Vista Library. Dan Simpson Racing to Display at Two Northern California Events By George Hague February 3, 2009 The Dan Simpson Racing team will be participating at two premiere auto shows in February. The Sacramento Autorama, in its 59th year, will take place at the Cal Expo Fairgrounds in Sacramento CA on February 6, 7, 8 ,2009 and the 9th Annual San Francisco Rod, Custom and Motorcycle Show at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, CA on February 20-21-23, 2009. The Dan Simpson’s number 4s sprint car will be on display in the race car building at the 12 building, Cal Expo Fairgrounds which houses the Sacramento Autorama. Fans can stop by and check out the car and pickup a schedule and media information regarding the Dan Simpson Racing team. The Sacramento Autorama will feature over 400 hot rods, motorcycles and specialized vehicles from around the country. The show will also feature celibates like Catherine Bach and the General Lee Dodge from the “Dukes of Hazards” TV show, plus super model, Sandra Tyles and Chris Jacobs form the TV show “Overhaulin”.
